Things I Learned From My Kindergartners This Week

1. The reason we should talk during a fire drill is we don't want to get fire in our mouths.

2. Just because we are learning about the color black, making a "Black things" book, and singing a song for the color black doesn't mean that one won't color his book orange instead. (We are learning about all colors- not just black by the way)

3. Kindergartners can be almost as stubborn as I can be. Almost.

4. Always pass out the cupcakes at the END of the day...

5. Kindergartners have really small bladders.

6. Silly bands are the ultimate motivators.

7. Kids will always be 10x's worse when the principal spends time in your room...

8. I absolutely love my class! They are such characters and I already love getting to know them and working with them. It's going to be a wonderful year!
